Attended by more than 7,000 people, the 26th annual Labor Day Car Show was a huge success. It’s put on jointly by the City of Fairfax and the Clifton Lions Club and was held in downtown Fairfax.
“We had 423 cars on display, making this the largest car show in Fairfax County history,” said Lions Club member Jim Chesley. “And the weather was just perfect.”
Furthermore, added Jeff Greenfield, one of the event’s organizers, “It’s also the largest car show in Northern Virginia. And we raised over $60,000 today for charity. It’s a ton of work – but, man, it was a great day.”
