“Simplicity,” a photograph by Bob Friedman of Springfield, was selected as Best
in Show by The Art League Gallery, Alexandria, for its April 2017, juried group exhibit. Friedman is a long-time member of the Dunn Loring-based Northern Virginia Photographic Society (NVPS). He has received numerous awards including Photographer of the Year from NVPS. Friedman’s photographic works are also part of the Ralph Rinzler Folklife Archives and Collections at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. The Art League exhibition runs through May 7, 2017.
